The children of the Kotori class sowed barley seeds last year.
Barley grows steadily, and children had cut them this spring. (They had a lot of work after that ...) Then, they made barley tea using this barley grains. Children all drank the barley tea. Please take a closer look. Children are drinking with a straw. Yes. This straw is a barley stalk. In English, straw means “SUTORO・ストロー” in Japanese, isn't it? The “MUGIWARA-BOUSHI・むぎわらぼうし” in Japanese is a straw hat, isn't it? Anyway, the barley tea was delicious. So the children experienced everything from seeds to barley tea. ... Actually, the barley seeds are still left. If children sow the seeds this fall ... I wonder if children can repeat the story that begins with the seeds over and over again.
