HELLO Village Weekの二日目は、放課後に「Conversation Cafe」が行われました。このイベントでは、英語村にアメリカの高校生がホストを務める10個のブースを設けられ、それぞれのブースにおいて日本とアメリカの生徒たちが10の様々トピックについて話し合いながら交流しました。各ブースのトピックは、家族、故郷、学校、将来の夢、趣味などでした。日米の生徒たちはお互いの話に耳を傾け、話し言葉だけでなく、身振りや手振りなどあらゆるコミュニケーションスキルを駆使して、言葉が簡単には通じないからこそ、「理解し合う」過程にいつも以上の喜びを感じていました。
　さて、今日で二日目のHELLO Village Weekはまだまだ続きます。明日は放課後に「Pub Quiz」が予定されています。

On the Day 2 of HELLO Village Week, there was an after-school event‘Conversation Cafe’. In this event, we had 10 booths at HELLO Village, each of which has (1) its own conversation topics and (2) American high school students as its hosts. For example, some topics are family, hometown, school life, dream, hobbies. Japanese and American　students listened carefully to each other and enjoyed struggling to make　themselves　understood by not just their languages but also any communication skills such as gestures.
　We still have three more days in HELLO Village Week, and will have an afterschool event ‘Pub Quiz’ tomorrow.
