A pub quiz is a team-based trivia competition that originated in Britain in the 1970s. Today, it has become a popular activity enjoyed around the world, including in countries such as the UK, Canada, and the United States.

Approximately 40 students participated in the event, forming a total of nine teams. After enjoying light snacks and friendly conversation, the teams competed to earn points by answering quiz questions across a variety of rounds. Popular activities including “Word Search,” “Common Answers,” and “One of a Kind.” Surprisingly, three teams finished with the exact same score!

The event provided a wonderful opportunity for students to connect with one another and communicate in English while enjoying the friendly and exciting spirit of competition.

5月28日（木）の放課後、HELLO Village Communication Space にて、今年度最初のPub Quizイベントを開催しました。

Pub Quizとは、1970年代にイギリスで始まったチーム対抗型のクイズ大会です。現在では、イギリスをはじめ、カナダやアメリカなど世界各国で親しまれている人気のアクティビティです。

当日は約40名の生徒が参加し、9チームに分かれてクイズに挑戦しました。軽食を楽しみながら交流した後、各チームはさまざまなラウンド形式のクイズに取り組み、得点を競い合いました。

「Word Search」「Common Answers」「One of a Kind」などのアクティビティが行われ、大いに盛り上がりました。最終結果では3チームが同点で並ぶという驚きの展開もありました。

イベントを通して、生徒たちは和やかでありながらも白熱した競争の中で交流を深め、英語でのコミュニケーションを楽しみながら充実した時間を過ごしました。
