3月24日（火）、英語村のマスコット「グロービー」の10歳の誕生日パーティー（Happy 10th Birthday Globy）が開催されました。

このイベントでは、生徒たちが企画したゲームやクイズで大変盛り上がりました。

ゲームの内容は、テーブルの上でカップを回転させて立たせる「Flip Cup」、点数が書かれた紙を釣り上げる「Sticky Hands」、じゃんけんゲームの「Rock-Paper-Scissors Streak」、ボールを得点ボードに投げ入れる「Shooting Game」、アルファベットがランダムに並んだ表の中から指定された単語を探し出す「Word Search」などで、生徒たちは夢中になって取り組んでいました。

大いに盛り上がった後の休憩時間には、お菓子を囲みながら交流を楽しみました。

休憩後もグループ対抗のゲームやクイズ大会が行われ、生徒も先生も本気で競い合いました。クイズで最高得点を獲得したチームにはプレゼントも贈られ、会場はさらに盛り上がりました。

最後に、みんなで「Happy Birthday」の歌を歌った後、サプライズで大きなバースデーケーキが登場し、参加者からは歓声が上がりました。ケーキはみんなで美味しくいただき、笑顔あふれるひとときとなりました。

On Tuesday, March 24, we held a 10th birthday party for Globy, the mascot of the English Village (Happy 10th Birthday Globy).

At this event, students had a great time enjoying games and quizzes that were planned and organized by themselves.

The activities included “Flip Cup,” where students flipped a cup on a table to land it upright; “Sticky Hands,” where they fished for papers with different point values; “Rock-Paper-Scissors Streak,” a competitive janken game; “Shooting Game,” where they threw balls to score points; and “Word Search,” where they looked for given words in a grid of randomly arranged letters. All of the activities were very exciting, and students participated with great enthusiasm.

After the games, there was a break time where students enjoyed snacks and had time to interact with each other. Following the break, more group-based games and a quiz competition were held, and both students and teachers competed seriously. Prizes were awarded to the team with the highest score, which made the event even more exciting.

At the end of the party, everyone sang “Happy Birthday,” and then a big birthday cake was brought out as a surprise. The participants were delighted, and everyone enjoyed the cake together, making it a joyful and memorable celebration.
