3月17日（火）、英語村10周年記念イベントの一つとして英語村コミュニケーションスペースで、英語落語パフォーマーのOKEICHANをお迎えし、英語落語鑑賞・体験を実施しました。

最初に簡単な落語の歴史や説明を聞いたあと、”Dessert” を鑑賞し、みんな、最後のオチの素晴らしさに会場がよどめきました。その後”Eating Udon” を鑑賞し、生徒も実際に高座の上で自分たちの”Eating Udon”を披露しました。

ほかにも”I hate Manju”や”Traffic Accdident”も鑑賞し、Workshopタイムで生徒がオリジナルにアレンジし、ペアで高座の上で披露しました。

みんな積極的に取り組み、個性あふれるアレンジを次々に披露してくれたことで、会場は笑いと拍手に包まれました。

英語で表現する楽しさや、人に伝える面白さを感じられる貴重な機会となりました。

On March 17, as part of the 10th anniversary events of Hello Village, we held an English Rakugo viewing and workshop at the Communication Space, welcoming English Rakugo performer OKEICHAN.

First, following a brief introduction to the history and basics of Rakugo, we watched the performance titled “Dessert.” All were all impressed by its clever punchline.

Next, we enjoyed “Eating Udon,” after which students took turns performing their own versions of the story on stage.

We also watched “I Hate Manju” and “Traffic Accident.” During the workshop session, students worked in pairs to create their own original adaptations and performed them on stage.

All participants were highly engaged throughout the event, and their creative and unique performances filled the room with laughter and applause.

It was a valuable opportunity for students to experience the joy of expressing themselves in English and the fun of communicating with others.
