11月1日（火）放課後、本校留学生カリーナさんが母国であるスイスについて紹介する「SWISS DAY」が行われました。生徒や留学生、ALTなどスイスに興味をもっている人たちが集まり楽しい時間を過ごしました。ドイツやフランス、オーストリアなどに囲まれ、アルプスの山や花など美しい自然に包まれた素晴らしい国でした。スイスの歴史や文化、食べ物やスイス出身の著名人の紹介など盛りだくさんの内容となり、スイスについて多くのことを学ぶことが出来ました。最後に質疑応答が行われ、カリーナさんがスイスから持ってきたお菓子をいただきながら更に交流が深まりました。カリーナさんありがとうございました。

November 1st (Tues) marked the first-ever “Swiss Day” at Hiyoshigaoka, as one of our exchange students Carina, performed a presentation after school about her home country Switzerland. Various students, ALTs and those interested in learning about the country gathered to participate. Surrounded by Germany, France, Austria and Italy, and blessed with scenery such as the Swiss Alps, Carina showed us what a truly beautiful country it is. The presentation included some historical and cultural background, as well as an introduction to the food and well-known people from Switzerland. After a brief question time at the end, Carina treated everyone to some tasty Swiss snacks. Thanks for the wonderful presentation Carina!
