HELLO Village Week I Day 3

The third day of the HELLO Village Week I, we held “10 Year
Event”. Students learned a little bit about past 10 years of HELLO
Village and everybody thought about how world has changed over the same period of time through ALT’s presentations. An activity
was held after each presentation where students can get many
Globy points. Hiyoshigaoa students were divided into groups with
CIEE American students and enjoyed the activities together.　

Students compete to collect as many Globy points as they can and there are many ways to win them during HELLO Village Week
activities by using 4 skills in English. The winner and the class with most Globy points in the grade will be awarded.

HELLO Village Week I 三日目は「10周年イベント」でした。クリス村長によるプレゼンテーションでこの英語村の10年の歩みについて学び、3人のALTによるプレゼンテーションが続き、この10年で世界がどう変化したのかについて思いをはせました。それぞれのプレゼンテーションの後にはたくさんのロービーポイントが獲得できるアクティビティが行われました。日吉ケ丘生はアメリカのCIEE留学生たちと一緒にグループに分かれて、和気あいあいとアクティビティに挑みました。

生徒達はできるだけ多くのグロービーポイントが得られるように競い合います。このHELLO Village Week I 中には、このグロービーポイントを獲得する仕掛けがたくさんあります。皆、配られているブックレットにこのグロービーポイントをためていくのですが、獲得するためには必ず英語の四技能を駆使しなければならないように作られています。各学年のトップ5人と各学年でトップのクラスは表彰されます。
