10月26日（水）放課後，英語村でハロウィンイベントが開催されました。様々な（架空の）人物・動物などに扮した生徒・ALTたちが英語村に集合しました！まずイベントの前半は，折り紙でジャック・オー・ランタンを作ったり，ハロウィンバージョンのカードゲームなどを楽しみました。次に，警察官に扮したALTたちがハロウィンの起源や歴史，そしてアメリカやカナダで実際にどのように祝っているのかを説明しました。その後、生徒たちは探偵となって、英語村で起こった事件を解決すべく、英語を使ったアクティビティに参加して犯人逮捕のための手がかりを集めました。

　We had Halloween Event at HELLO Village after school on October 26th. Students wore costumes and became someone or something else. In the first part, students enjoyed card games and folding origami Jack-o’-Lanterns. Then, ALTs (dressing up as police officers) gave a talk about the beginning and the history of Halloween and how people in US, Canada, and Mexico enjoy Halloween. After the talk, students became detectives and tried to solve an imaginary murder case at HELLO Village by participating the English activity.
