Hello everyone !
My name is Liz Wharmby, the new ALT at Nijo Junior High School.
I am from Birmingham, the second largest city in the UK.
This is my first time in Japan and so far it’s amazing !
Kyoto is very beautiful and the people here are very friendly.
I’m looking forward to teaching Nijo students English and teaching them
about the UK and British culture.
With the Olympics and Queen Elizabeth’s 60th jubilee celebrations, Britain
is very exciting this year !

私はリズ＝ワルンビといいます。二条中学校の新しいＡＬＴです。
私はイギリスで２番目に大きい都市のバーミンガム出身です。
日本は初めてでとてもわくわくしています。
京都はとても綺麗で、ここの人たちはとても仲良くしてくれます。
私は二条のみなさんに英語を教えるかとや、イギリスのこと、また英国文化を教えるのが楽しみです。
オリンピックやエリザベス女王即位60周年もあって、今年イギリスは大きな盛り上がりを見せています。
二条中学校に迎えていただいてありがとうございます。
