本日は日本の文化を体験する一日となりました。
お昼には、おにぎりの作り方と緑茶の入れ方のレクチャーを受けました。熱々のご飯に悪戦苦闘しながらも、それぞれ好きな具材のおにぎりを作って皆でいただきました。
一日の最後には、着物の着付け体験を行いました。色鮮やかな着物に身を包み、あぶり餅屋さんや今宮神社などでフォトジェニックな写真をたくさん撮りました。慣れない草履で歩きにくさもありましたが、とても良い機会になりました。
いよいよ来週の月曜日が、紫野高校で過ごす最後の日となります。最後まで良い思い出をたくさん作ってほしいですね。

Yesterday was a day full of Japanese cultural experiences.

At lunchtime, the students attended a lecture on how to make onigiri and brew green tea. While struggling a bit with the steaming hot rice, they each made their own onigiri with their favorite fillings and enjoyed them together.

At the end of the day, they had a kimono dressing experience. Dressed in vibrant kimonos, they took many photogenic pictures at places like the Aburi-mochi shop and Imamiya Shrine. Walking in unfamiliar geta sandals was a bit challenging, but it was a wonderful opportunity.

Next Monday will be the Chevalier students’ final day at Murasakino High School. We hope they create many more wonderful memories until the very end.
