We held English Cafe after school today.

This English Cafe is a time to enjoy English conversation
and become familiar with English by talking with the ALT teacher and playing games.

Today was the first time this year.
Although the third-grade students were unable to
participate due to their school trip, the first-grade and
second-grade students joined the English Cafe.

The students enjoyed playing games and using many
English words. We started with a DOBBLE GAME,
and the students had fun playing games such as
guessing the emotions behind "Hey!", "Really?",
and "Wow!"

In the Hot Potato game, students came up with words
that started with B, words that started with T, etc.
We were impressed by how many English words the first grade students, as well as the second grade students,
knew.

本日の放課後にEnglish Cafeを行いました。

ALTの先生と一緒に英語で話したり、ゲームをして英会話を楽しんだり、英語に親しむEnglish Cafeの今年度の１回目でした。

３年生は修学旅行のため参加できませんでしたが、１年生と２年生のみなさんが参加してくれました。

DOBBLE GAME でスタートし、「Hey!」「Really?」「Wow!」をどの感情で言っているかを当てるゲームなどをして、生徒のみなさんは楽しんでいました。

Hot Potatoゲームでは、Ｂで始まる語やＴで始まる語などを出しあいました。２年生はもちろんですが、１年生もたくさんの英単語を知っていることに感心しました。
