HELLO Village Week I 二日目のイベントは “Conversation Café with American High School Students” でした。

当日は、25名のCIEE留学生と約30名の日吉ヶ丘高校の生徒が参加し、いくつかのブースに分かれて交流を行いました。CIEE留学生が準備してくれたトピックについて、各ブースで5分間ずつ英語で会話を楽しみ、その後次のブースへ移動するローテーション形式で進められました。

趣味や好きな食べ物、アメリカや日本の若者が使うスラングなど、さまざまな話題について会話が弾み、会場は終始笑顔と笑い声に包まれた1時間となりました。

Conversation Café終了後も、すっかり打ち解けた生徒たちは留学生との会話を続け、午後のHELLO Villageは国際交流の輪が広がるにぎやかな時間となりました。

The second event of HELLO Village Week I was “Conversation Café with American High School Students.”

A total of 25 CIEE exchange students and approximately 30 Hiyoshigaoka High School students participated in the event. Divided into several booths, students enjoyed five-minute conversations on topics prepared by the CIEE students before rotating to the next booth.

They talked about a wide range of subjects, including hobbies, favorite foods, and popular slang expressions, creating a lively atmosphere filled with laughter throughout the 60-minute session.

Even after the Conversation Café had officially ended, many students continued chatting with the exchange students they had become friends with. The afternoon at HELLO Village remained vibrant as students enjoyed making new connections and communicating in English.
