HELLO Village（英語村）
HELLO Village Week I がスタートしました！
今年度の HELLO Village Week I は、6月15日（月）から19日（金）までの5日間にわたり、毎日放課後にさまざまなイベントを開催します。
期間中、生徒たちは「HELLO Village Week Booklet」に記載された数多くのミッションに挑戦します。ミッションをクリアすると「グロービーポイント」を獲得することができ、生徒たちはできるだけ多くのポイントを集めるため、さまざまなミッションに取り組みます。集めたポイントをもとに、各学年の上位5名と、各学年で最も多くのポイントを獲得したクラスが表彰されます。
2026年度のテーマは “Expand Your Horizons”です。
また、今年のHELLO Village Week Iでは、月曜日から水曜日までの3日間、毎日約25名のCIEE留学生を迎え、生徒たちが国際交流を楽しみながら英語を実践的に使うことができる機会となっています。
初日のイベントは、 Pub Quiz で幕を開けました。CIEE留学生を含む約80名の参加者が10チームに分かれ、「Word Search」「Common Answers」「One of a Kind」、さらにミュージックビデオを見て質問に答える「Music Video Round」など、さまざまなクイズに挑戦しました。
生徒たちは留学生と英語で相談しながら答えを考え、チームで協力してクイズに取り組んでいました。正解が発表されるたびに会場からは歓声が上がり、大いに盛り上がるイベントとなりました。
今年のテーマである “Expand Your Horizons” のとおり、生徒たちが英語を通じて新たな出会いや経験を楽しみ、視野を広げる1週間のスタートとなりました。
HELLO Village Week I Has Begun!
This year’s HELLO Village Week I started on June 15th, with a variety of after-school events taking place throughout the week.
During the week, students are challenged to complete numerous missions listed in the HELLO Village Week Booklet. By completing these missions, they can earn “Globy Points”. Students are encouraged to take on as many English-related challenges as possible to collect points. At the end of the week, the top five students in each grade, as well as the class with the highest total score in each grade, will be recognized.
The theme for HELLO Village Week I 2026 is “Expand Your Horizons.”
From Monday to Wednesday, approximately 25 CIEE students join the events each day, providing valuable opportunities for our students to interact with international visitors and use English in authentic communication.
The first day of HELLO Village Week I kicked off with our annual Pub Quiz. Around 80 participants, including CIEE students, were divided into ten teams and took part in a variety of quiz rounds, including the familiar “Word Search,” “Common Answers,” “One of a Kind,” and the “Music Video Round,” in which participants watched music videos and answered related questions.
Throughout the event, students discussed the answers with the CIEE students in English and worked together as a team. Every announcement of the correct answers brought cheers and excitement, creating a lively and enjoyable atmosphere.
It was a great start for HELLO Village Week, giving students opportunities to expand their horizons through English, new experiences, and international friendships.
