The weather was beautiful today and began with a trip to our
amazing sister school, Noosa District State High School.
The students enjoyed a tour by the Noosa students and then
performed their Japanese cultural presentations to teach
everyone about different aspects of Japanese culture such as
“origami,” “Japanese tea ceremony” and “Soran-bushi.”
After a fun and exciting time together, the Hiyoshi students
learned a little about Australian food culture and enjoyed
eating various Australian treats with their buddies.
During lunch time, the students continued to enjoy eating
and doing various activities such as playing basketball.
After a really amazing day together, everybody is now really
looking forward to meeting each other again on Thursday,
weather permitting.
