Do you know what SDGs mean? It's a goal to make the world livable and susutainable forever. So now, I'm going to tell you about it.
Look around the world, many countries have problems. For example, some islands are sinking. Can you believe it? Also, the weather is getting terrible. Last August, wildfires occuured in Hawaii. Not only this, but tropical forests are also disappearing little by little. Not only over seas, but in Japan, there are big and strong typhoons coming in the future. How did you feel hearing these problems? I can't believe it. I felt that we must protect the environment for ourselves, and for all the living things on the Earth. So, what can we do for them? This question sounds formidable, but we can do it! It's easy to solve the problems.
Have you ever heard of these words? "Think globally, act locally."
It means "small things that we can do locally will make changes for our lives and the environment."
This is very importnt. Many people don't think so, but it must be. To do every small thing is the best way to help. For example, there are some recycle boxes in the supermarkets. We can use it. Also, if we have a room used by nobody, then we can turn off the lights. This will help us save on electricity. Like this, we can do many things. Everyone's small effort will make the world livable and sustainable. Lives on the earth will be happy. Let's make these choices from now on! That's all, thank you so much!
