８月からＡＬＴ（外国語指導助手）としてティミー　ティン　イー　イン先生が赴任されました。
以下の文は、先生の皆さんへのメッセージです。

　こんにちは! My name is Timmy, and I am one of the new JET Programme
ALTs in Kyoto City. I am a Canadian born Chinese from Toronto. Two
years ago, I graduated from the University of Toronto with a bachelor’s
degree in the specialist programme of Psycholinguistics. I am also a
TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language) certified English instructor.
As an ambassador of my country, I hope to immerse into the Japanese
culture and provide interesting facts and knowledge for the students.
It is an honour to be placed at such a wonderful city that is known for
its beauty, history, and rich cultural traditions. I am very excited to
work with the teachers and students at Rakuhoku Junior High School,
and I hope this opportunity will bring pleasant memories for everyone.

私の名前はTimmyで、京都都市の新しいJETプログラムのＡＬＴです。
私は、トロントから来たカナダ生まれの中国人です。
2年前、私は心理言語学を専攻してトロント大学を卒業しました。
私は、ＴＥＳＬ（第２言語としての英語教授法）の英語インストラクターでもあります。
私の国の代表として、日本の文化や興味深い事柄を学び、生徒達に興味深い知識を提供するように頑張ります。
美しさ、歴史、および豊かな文化的な伝統のために知られているようなすばらしい都市にいられることは光栄です。
私は、洛北中学校で先生や生徒達と仕事ができることにワクワクしていますし、皆さんのよい思い出づくりに協力できることを望みます。
