I went to Nijo Castle. There are many rooms with gorgeous paintings here in Ninomarugoten Palace. The Karamon Gate is also very beautifully decorated.
I hear this castle was built by Tokugawa Ieyasu, the founder of Edo Bakufu. Ninomarugoten Palace is also famous as the place of Taisei Houkan. The 15th shogun Tokugawa Yoshinobu announced his plan to give power back to the Emperor here in 1867.

　二条城では，「大政奉還」という歴史的な出来事が行われました。難しい単語もありますが，聞きなれて，一つでも多くの単語を身につけていきましょう。
