７月６日から栽培している大根と白菜の様子を見に行きました。


雑草を抜き、水やりをしました。


農薬を使わないので、草抜き作業は大変です。



8th graders went to check up their Daikon, Japanese radishes,

and Hakusai, Chinese cabbages, which they have grown since July 6.



They pulled a lot of weeds around the plants and watered.



Since we do NOT use chemicals for contorlling weeds,

pulling them is an almost constant battle.
