What kind of emoji do you usually use? Emoji was born from Japanese texting culture. Now they are popular all over the world. The “Face with Tears of Joy” emoji was chosen as the English word of the year for 2015. The pictograph shows a half-smiling, half-crying look. It was the most-used emoji worldwide.
