WHAT’S UP? Vol.36

本校のALTのMr.Tが３月で期間を終え、アメリカに帰国されます。約５年間紫野高校でご勤務され、授業はもちろんですが、行事や部活動にも積極的にご参加され、熱心にご指導していただきました。生徒の良さを引き出す、笑いあふれる明るい授業が印象的でした。以下は、Mr.Tからのお別れメッセージです。

I want to first thank everyone at Murasakino High School. But I
must thank you, the students most because you are the reason
why I love teaching so much. Many of you were always friendly and
greeted me with a smile and would often say “hello” to me in the
hallways. Many of you did your best to communicate with me when
you had the chance and there were many times in class when we
enjoyed laughing together trying to discuss something in English.
I hope you were able to enjoy my class, but if you did not get the
opportunity to meet me, I still thank each of you for making this
school environment so great. Please continue to take pride in this
place and especially in yourselves. I wish good luck to you, your
families and Japan! Farewell!
