「HELLO Village Week1」第3日目

「HELLO Village Week1」第3日目は、一日中「WORLD CUP」一色に染まっていました。
ランチタイムは、「WORLD CUP VEIWING」と銘打ちまして、アルゼンチン対クロアチアの対戦を熱く観戦しました。グループリーグで最下位に低迷していたアルゼンチンでしたが、最終戦でナイジェリアを下し,見事グループDを第2位で予選リーグを突破しました。
放課後は、「WORLD CUP EVENT」で盛り上がりました。まず、本校ALTでサッカー発祥の地UK出身のニコルさんによるサッカーやWORLD CUPに関するプレゼンテーションがありました。続いて、クリス村長のWORLD CUPを題材にした「PUB QUIZ」が行われました。グループごとの対抗戦で実施され、大いに盛り上がりました。優勝チームには豪華商品が送られました。
いよいよ29日（木）深夜１１時から日本代表が予選リーグ突破を目指してポーランドと対戦します。FIFAランクでは格上の相手ですが、勝利を信じてみんなで応援しましょう！


The third day of HELLO Village Week had a decidedly World Cup flavor. At lunch time, students watched a replay of the match between Argentina and Croatia while completing various missions in their HELLO Village Week booklets. After school was the “World Cup Wednesday” event, in which there was a presentation about the history of football, the impact the sport has had in England and the history of the World Cup. After the presentation, there was a fun quiz about the World Cup, in which six teams competed.
Japan will face Poland later tonight to try to advance from the group stage. Here’s hoping for a good result!

「HELLO Village Week１」第２日目

「HELLO Village Week１」２日目の放課後は、「Talent Show」が行われました。
８組のパフォーマーが参加しました。ボイスパーカッションから始まり、世界で活躍するダンサーのダンス、ミュージカルスターのアカペラ、カードを使ったマジックショー、グループでの見事なハーモニーのアカペラ、個人や、ＡＬＴと生徒のデュオなど素晴らしい歌など才能あふれるパフォーマンスに観客は魅了されていました。最後に、英語村スタッフと会場に集まった参加者が一緒になって「カントリー・ロード」を英語で歌いました。会場が一体となった素晴らしいひと時となりました。日吉ケ丘高校生徒たちの果てしない才能を実感する機会となりました。パフォーマンスをしてくれた皆さんに心から感謝します。「ありがとう!!」

A talent show was held after school on the second day of HELLO Village Week. There were eight performances in total, ranging from beatboxing, a dance performance by an international competitor, an acapella performance by a trained musical talent, an exciting magic show and various other singing performances. All of the individual and group performances illustrated how truly talented the students of Hiyoshigaoka are, and gave us an opportunity to see performances which we perhaps otherwise would not. Thanks to everybody for giving such fantastic performances and having the courage to do so in front of their friends!!

「HELLO Village Week1」始まる！！

６月２５日（月）から２９日（金）まで今年度最初の「HELLO Village Week１」が始まりました。このイベントは、少しでも多くの生徒に英語村の魅力を知ってもらうと昨年度から行われています。今回も楽しいイベントや魅力あふれるミッションが用意されています。是非、英語村に集まってください。

２５日（月）昼休みは、オープニング・セレモニーが行われました。
まずはじめに、ハロコミ委員広報班が制作したオープニング動画がスクリーンに映し出され、参加者の気分が盛り上がりました。続いて、クリス村長、古池校長、瀬川英語村副委員長から英語でのメッセージがありました。会場は、多くの生徒や教職員が参加し大いに盛り上がりました。放課後は、普段はESS部の部活動が行われていますが、この日は誰でも参加できるオープンESSが行われました。

火曜日以降も、色んなイベントが用意されていますので、英語村が多くの人で賑わうことを願っています。


This year’s first “HELLO Village Week” has begun. Starting from June 25 to the 29th, this event is being held so even more students will enjoy HELLO Village than before. This year, too, there are a lot of fun events and a variety of missions prepared for the students. So please come and join HELLO Village!
During the lunch time of the 25th, there was an opening ceremony. First, Kris, the HELLO Village Mayor, Mr. Furuike, Principal of Hiyoshigaoka SHS, and Mr. Segawa, the student vice chairperson of the HELLO Committee delivered wonderful messages to the students and teachers there, who were so excited.
Usually after school there is an ESS club activity, but this day the activity was not only for ESS members but for all of the students. From the next day, there will be many different events to enjoy. We hope HELLO Village will be lively and full of people!

一般市民対象アクティビティ(2018) 第2弾「Summer Around the World」のご案内

京都市立日吉ケ丘高校「英語村」（HELLO Village）一般市民対象アクティビティ第2弾は、「Summer Around the World」です。今回は初めてのテーマですが、参加者でクイズを交えながら世界の夏について考えたいと思います。今回もお茶とお菓子をいただきながら自然な形で英語が身に付くとても楽しい企画となっています。今回は、本校のALT全員で担当します。興味のある方は、是非ご参加ください。ALTやボランティアスタッフが優しく補助してくれますので英語が苦手な方も是非チャレンジしてください。
