Online Lessons from Australia

The 2nd grade students of the Global Communication Course completed their final set of online lessons with Lexis English on November 26th. Lexis graciously offered the lessons to our students, who were unable to go on their school trip to Australia due to the Corona virus.

The final set of 4 lessons took place over a span of 3 weeks during the student’s LL Beta class, and the students were taught many things about Australia, ranging from famous landmarks to Australian (or Aussie) slang. Although it took the students some time to get used to the online lessons, by the end, the students were much more comfortable and really enjoyed learning about Australian culture from their teachers Michelle and Jessie. Thank you again to everybody at Lexis English for this wonderful and new experience.

９月の実施に引き続き，１１月も２年生の国際コミュニケーションコースの生徒を対象に，オーストラリア，ヌーサの語学学校LEXIS EnglishよりZoomを利用したオンライン授業を実施していただきました。この２年次生は本来なら１年次の３月にオーストラリア研修旅行に行くはずだったのですが，新型コロナウイルス感染症拡大の影響で，中止となっていました。

それを受け，LEXIS Englishがご厚意で，９月に４回，１１月に４回の計８回にわたるオンラインレッスンを実施してくださいました。当初，生徒は，オンライン授業でのパソコン操作等に慣れるのに時間がかかりましたが，１１月になるとすっかり慣れ，ミシェル先生，ジェシー先生からの授業を熱心に受講することができ，オーストラリアに関して多くのことを学び，実際にオーストラリアで学んでいるようなわくわくした感覚を持つことができました。

LEXIS Englishの皆様，日吉ケ丘高校の生徒のために，すばらしい機会を与えてくださり本当にありがとうございました。
