British Day

We held the third public event of HELLO Village on October 1st. After the announcing of this event, the number of participants quickly reached its limit of 20 participants. We apologize to those who couldn’t participate in this event.

The presenter was Nichol from the UK, who has been an ALT since August. She made a great presentation, introducing the UK, using Keynote. The participants had fun learning British countries and cultures. In the latter part of the session, they had English tea and cookies while having a chat in English with ALTs and other participants.

Thank you very much for enjoying this event. We are planning the next event in November. We hope to see you soon!

去る１０月１日（土）、英語村「HELLO Village」一般市民対象アクティビティ第3弾として「BRITISH DAY」を実施いたしました。定員２０名で募集しましたところ、すぐに埋まってしまい、参加できなかった方には大変申し訳ありませんでした。

今回は8月から本校のALTとして活躍されているイギリス出身のニコル先生が担当しました。Key noteを使って写真や動画を駆使して、とても分かりやすいプレゼンテーションをしてくださり、イギリスの地域や文化について楽しく学ぶことができました。後半では、イギリスのクッキーと紅茶をいただきながらALTや参加者同士で英会話を楽しみながら楽しいひと時を過ごすことができました。

ご参加いただいた皆様、本当にありがとうございました。１１月に第４弾を考えています。次回お会いできることを楽しみにしています。

日吉ケ丘高校体育祭 〜その１〜

９月３０日（金）、第６６回体育祭が本校にて行われました。雨で一日順延でしたが、昨日までの雨が嘘のような晴天の下、全校生徒が全力で取り組みました。

１００ｍ走やパン食い競争といった個人種目、大縄跳びや綱引き、玉入れなどの学年ごとの団体種目、そして最後はクラス対抗リレーと、最後まで１人１人の全力でプレーする姿と応援する声が、今日の天気の様に爽やかに光り輝いていました。特に３年次生にとっては高校生活最後の体育祭。きっと一生の思い出になったことでしょう。
