ハロコミ企画「Totally Terrific Time Travel Party!!」（素晴らしい時間旅行）No.1

去る9月14日（木）放課後、ハロコミ委員会イベント班企画の「Totally Terrific Time Travel Party!!」が行われました。
　テーマは、華やかだった1960年代〜1980年代にタイムスリップして当時の文化やファッションにふれようというものでした。BGMには、当時はやったABBAのダンシング・クイーンやディスコミュージックが流れ雰囲気を盛り上げていました。まずは、3，4人のグループに分かれて当時の文化やファッションに関わるクイズに挑戦しました。写真に映っている人の服装を見て時代の順番に並べるクイズやその時代に流行ったものの正体をあてるものなど楽しいクイズでした。また、その時代の一部を切り取ったような写真を撮るフォトコンテストを行い、最後にはその当時を代表するファッションをイメージしたコスチュームを作ってファッションショーを行いました。集まったメンバーが受け身ではなく、積極的に参加できる参加型のイベントとなり、大いに盛り上がりました。ハロコミ委員会をはじめ、ALT、留学生や生徒、学生ボランティアや卒業生、教職員と幅広いメンバーが集まって楽しい時間を過ごすことが出来ました。

On September 14th, an event called the “Totally Terrific Time Travel Party” was held by the HELLO Committee.
The event celebrated the 60’s~80’s through learning about the culture of those decades and looking at different trends and fashions. To set the mood, ABBA’s Dancing Queen, along with other hit songs from those eras was played throughout the event.
The event began with a small group quiz about fashion and culture from those eras. The next event was a photo contest. In this event, the students were given the theme “Bubbly” and had ten minutes to take a photo that best represented this theme. The final event was a fashion activity, in which the students designed and made their own dresses in 20 minutes, and modeled their creation for the judges in a fashion show. Beginning with the members of the HELLO Committee, this event had a variety of participants such as ALTs, teachers, university student volunteers, and graduate and current students, including our exchange students, and everybody enjoyed taking an active part in the activities.
